About

My body of work involves multiple avenues of media, including both oil and acrylic paint, wood, metal, and textiles. Stemming from memory, my paintings and sculptures are thematically focused on childhood, family, nostalgia, grief, and identity. I often explore these through a lens of western iconography via landscapes and cowboy culture and fashion. I also work frequently with text, where I explore the failure of language, gaps in meaning, and the absence of meaning.
